GET TO KNOW ELIZABETH HORNE DESIGN
Elizabeth started her design firm in 2012. Since then, her work has been featured in Home and Design and on the cover of Annapolis Home Magazine. She recently opened her flagship office in College Park, Maryland.
Elizabeth’s “first home” was the house she grew up in: 1920’s three story house in historic Pullen Park in Raleigh, NC. Every bit of the house needed updating and she was given the opportunity to help with all of it. “I learned to paint, tile, and run electrical wire. Looking back at the hard work and long days that go into house renovation and construction, I think this gives me a great appreciation for all of the trades that do these jobs - they’re not easy to do right!”
She graduated from Wake Forest University with a degree in Psychology and spent four years working for high end kitchen designer Brad Creer, in Bethesda, MD. She and Brad have teamed up to work on dozens of kitchens over the past ten years.
Elizabeth’s design aesthetic is tailored, distinct, and meaningful. Whether it is modern, coastal, traditional, or a blend of all of them, she jumps into her projects with a full heart every time. Our goal is to offer accessible design - whether you need advice on a single room or a new home, we can make your vision come to life. Our focus and ultimate goal is to create a beautiful and functional room, but it is just as important to us that clients enjoy the process along the way.
